About the Role:
Pixelizes is on the lookout for a highly creative and detail-driven Video Editor / Motion Designer to bring ideas to life through visually engaging video content and motion graphics. You’ll work closely with the design and marketing teams to craft compelling visual stories for brand campaigns, product showcases, social media, and web.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video content for marketing, social media, YouTube, and web platforms
- Design and animate motion graphics, lower thirds, intros/outros, and transitions
- Create short-form and long-form videos with high visual appeal
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and marketers to develop visual narratives
- Source and edit stock footage, music, and sound effects when needed
- Manage video assets, maintain version control, and ensure timely delivery
- Optimize videos for different platforms (web, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Stay updated with trends in motion design, editing styles, and visual storytelling
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and motion design
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop/Illustrator
- Strong understanding of animation principles, pacing, and storytelling
- Experience creating branded content, reels, and social media videos
- Ability to handle feedback and work under tight deadlines
- Solid portfolio showcasing previous motion/video editing work
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of sound design and audio syncing
- Experience with 2D/3D animation tools (Blender, Cinema4D, etc.)
- Ability to storyboard and script short video sequences
- Familiarity with UI/UX or explainer video creation
