About the Role:
Pixelizes is seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer (AWS, Azure) to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, ensures high system availability, and is capable of delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions for diverse applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS and Azure services
- Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates)
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, and cost-efficiency
- Implement best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to build CI/CD pipelines
- Manage identity, access policies, and networking components within cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards
- Optimize cost and usage of cloud services through analytics and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering (AWS and/or Azure)
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs in cloud platforms
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, etc.)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator (preferred)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in hybrid cloud setups or multi-cloud strategies
- Knowledge of GCP, serverless frameworks (Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.)
- Familiarity with cost optimization tools and FinOps practices
